The 74 years old Ato Ayele Melaku is certainly not afraid of death.

Ato Ayele Melaku, an old man live’s in Addis Ababa, behind saint Marry school around Ayele bridge, a bridge the villagers named after him. The 74 years old has already prepared the necessary materials for his funeral ceremony. Ato Ayele has served his country for many years in different wars. He said that he gets 700 Ethiopian birr as pension payment monthly, and he has an income from the two rooms he rents. His daughter who is living abroad also helps him. Ato Ayeles house is filled with materials used for funeral. He prepared a casket and benches for the mourners. Ato Ayele who is not afraid to die said that the only thing he is waiting for is death. And he will be advising others till he is gone.
