The famous Ethiopian prophesier of the future Sheikh Hussein Jibril lived in Ethiopia from 1811- 1908. The most unique thing about Sheikh Hussien's prophecies is that the prophecies are written in the poem. Most of his poems were predictions about the upcoming rulers of Ethiopia and socio-political situations of the country starting from the times of Zemene Mesfaent (Era of the Princes from 1769 - 1855)  to the present regime. Anyone who read up Ethiopian history can see how the prophecies are 100% on point. The poems are colloquial in writing and double-edged in meaning. One needs to read between the lines and with a deep knowledge of the Amharic language, Ethiopian history, and religions. For example, the terms Christianity as Amhara instead of calling it Christianity and similar kinds of usages.

Before he died, Sheikh Hussein Jibril foretold major occurrences in the world from his era up to the 21st century and beyond. He foresaw Ethiopia's reform in 2018 and the big events that are changing the course of Ethiopian history. in his predictions, he warned Ethiopia's doom unless the nations reconcile.
