Hasel Talent show is an Ethiopian talent competition created to promote new Ethiopian talents. Live shows took place in Addis Ababa and watched by nearly millions of people. Unlike the Idol and the X factor formats, Hasel talent showcases several artistic disciplines in addition to singing. Nowadays, the show has become Ethiopia's most successful reality TV show ever. During the live shows, judges grade the contestants' performance. Popular artists like Michael Tamre, Seleshi Wale, Mastewal Yewendwesen and Solomon Hagos participate as judges and host. The winner of the show receives money and a contract with the producers with a fee.
