Zemen is an Ethiopian Tv drama series airing twice a week on EBS TV. It premiered in 2016.  Presented by Sparks Film and  Balcha Entertainment, which also produced the popular Sew le Sew drama, it consists of actors who worked on Sew le Sew and new actors who have won the talent show, "Yemaleda Kokeboch." The story revolves around different people who are going through relationships, family and economic challenges. Migration and human trafficking are also portrayed in the drama. Touching on various social issues in Ethiopian society, it is one of the most popular TV shows. It is also the first and only series to be aired twice a week.
