Ethiopian Traffic Assistant Inspector Assefa Mezegebu is known for his traffic updates on Bisrat FM 101.1 program Auto Safety. Auto Safety is program devoted to creating awareness about traffic rules and regulations to reduce the rate of traffic accidents. Auto Safety is produced by Assistant Inspector Assefa Mezgebu and Journalist Ashenafi Assefa. The show airs live and update listeners with the traffic flow. 

However, Commissioner Degfe Bedi has officially banned Assistant Inspector Assefa from reporting live traffic updates as of today.
