Future 2019 Cars Set to Arrive in Dealerships

We’re still early in 2018, but there is already excitement over what 2019 will hold for the automotive industry. Manufacturers will be bringing back models from the dead, redesigning fan-favorites, and adding all-new models to satisfy the industry’s thirst for new crossovers and trucks, as well as new technology.

The biggest market for new car buyers, the crossover and SUV market, will see many new introductions for the 2019 model year. Acura is introducing a completely redesigned model of their RDX, their highly ranked luxury compact SUV. Subaru is looking to keep families who have outgrown the 2-row Outback by introducing the 3-row Ascent SUV.

Pickup truck buyers will have a number of new models to choose from. The compact Ford Rangerreturns after eight years with an all-new design. Redesigned versions of the full-size Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Ram 1500, and GMC Sierra 1500 will all debut in 2019.

Prefer something more fuel-efficient (or something that doesn’t use fuel at all)? Several new hybrids are coming out, including the subcompact Lexus UX hybrid SUV, and Honda’s Insight sedan. Jaguar is introducing the I-Pace, an all-electric SUV to compete with Tesla’s Model X. Porsche is offering a new electric sports sedan, the Mission E.
