Liverpool
Liverpool look set to have Fabinho in central defence against Bayern Munich on Tuesday in the absence of suspended Virgil Van Dijk, while there are doubts over Roberto Firmino.
Van Dijk must serve a one-match ban and - with there having been no sign of Dejan Lovren (hamstring) in training on Monday and Joe Gomez (broken leg) still out - midfielder Fabinho is poised to be deployed alongside Joel Matip at the back in the Champions League last-16 first leg at Anfield.
Forward Firmino was also not involved on Monday, due to a virus, and will be assessed. Winger Xherdan Shaqiri, a former Bayern player, could make his return to action after missing the 3-0 Premier League win over Bournemouth because of an abdominal injury.
Provisional squad: Alisson, Mignolet, Moreno, Robertson, Matip, Hoever, Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Milner, Keita, Henderson, Lallana, Shaqiri, Camacho, Firmino, Mane, Salah, Sturridge, Origi.
Bayern Munich
The visitors look set to be without Jerome Boateng on Tuesday, the defender having been hit by gastroenteritis and not travelled with the squad.
Winger Franck Ribery is another player who did not come across from Germany with his team-mates on Monday, following the birth of his daughter during the night, but he was due to arrive ahead of the match.
It appears Kingsley Coman, who scored twice before coming off with an injury in Friday's 3-2 win at Augsburg, will be available.
Leon Goretzka trained individually on Monday having picked up a slight ankle problem. Thomas Muller is suspended.
