In order to make the judicial system reliable and impartial with strong follow-up and supervision, the parliament has been deliberating in appointing 3 nominees replacing the former members Ato Asmelash W/Selassie, Wro. Genet Tadesse, and Ato Tesfaye Daba. Among the nominees, the parliament has appointed Wro. Senayit Endarge and Ato Peteros Weldesenbet and has decided to review Ato Gebregziabehr Araya’s nomination and announce a new nominee. The parliament also approved the proclamation drafts for the Ethiopia-Rwanda agreement for information communication, agriculture and media sectors, and the loan agreement between Ethiopia and the International Development Association to execute Ethiopia’s Economic Opportunity Projects.
